The Kennedy Crusaders's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Richards and snuck past 52-49. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kennedy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Kennedy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vincent Carrero out in front who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Dahl, who scored 15 points.
Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Richards, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Kennedy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Catalyst-Maria at 6:30 p.m. on December 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Catalyst-Maria is ranked 512th, while Kennedy is ranked 525th). As for Richards, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Solorio at 4:30 p.m. on December 7th.
