The Windermere Prep Lakers kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 50-27 walloping at the hands of Ocoee.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ocoee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Hannah, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Paris Triplett, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds.
Windermere Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ocoee, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Windermere Prep will be playing at home against Winter Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ocoee, they will square off against Evangelical Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Evangelical Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
