West Stokes and Surry Central are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The West Stokes Wildcats will be playing at home against the Surry Central Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
West Stokes kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. Their rough 60-35 loss to South Stokes might stick with them for a while. West Stokes has not had much luck with South Stokes recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Surry Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Presley Smith out in front who scored 9 points along with 5 steals. Layla Wall was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
West Stokes' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Surry Central, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
West Stokes lost to Surry Central at home by a decisive 47-28 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Thankfully for West Stokes, Ashley Santamaria (who scored 11 points along with 9 steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
