Longmeadow strolled into their game  on Saturday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Reading Memorial Rockets. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

Longmeadow can attribute much of their success to  Annie Kro, who  had 14  digs and one  assist. Those  14  digs gave  Kro a new career-high.  Tess Tonsing also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
 Longmeadow  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least ten  aces in five consecutive  matchups.
Longmeadow's record now sits at 10-0. As for Reading Memorial,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-3.
 Longmeadow has already played their next match,  a  3-0  win against Baystate Academy on the 29th. As for Reading Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-2  victory against Woburn Memorial on the 29th.
