Volleyball Recap: Scott Starts Season with Win at Home

Scott took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Wallace County Wildcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Scott had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Wallace County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Scott has already played their next match (against Oakley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wallace County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rawlins County on September 9.
