Westville's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 27 hits and 14 walks to lead the league in both categories. The Tigers have given up a mere 179 hits on the year in addition to compiling 150 strikeouts.
Nick Jones is the leader in that category with 59 Ks on the season.
Although the Hilltoppers finished first in the league this week with 81 hits,
Oakwood still sits atop the the league leaderboard with 286 total hits this season. Neal has a team-high 47 hits on the season for second-place Schlarman, which went 5-3 this week.
The Hilltoppers' Neal finished his week with 15 hits, tops in the league. His 47 hits for the year are first in the league, and he boasts a .452 batting average.
Zack Girton was the player of the game on Wednesday, with four RBIs in Oakwood's 10-7 victory over Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman
