Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jeannette). Everything went their way against the Monessen Greyhounds on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-3 victory. The Jayhawks haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Grace Stein made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
