Girard won against Anderson County last Friday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Girard Trojans blew past the Columbus Titans 48-24. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Columbus' loss came despite strong showings from Katy Mooney and Brylie Johnson. Mooney posted 12 points, while Johnson had ten points. That was a full 50% of Columbus' points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Girard pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points over those games. As for Columbus, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Girard will venture away from home to square off against Riverton on Friday. As for Columbus, they are taking a road trip to challenge Baxter Springs on February 18th.
