Augusta had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. It was close but no cigar for Augusta as they fell 36-38 to Woodlawn on Friday. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Augusta will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Decatur at 7:00 PM. Woodlawn are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Episcopal next week at 7:00 PM.
