The Gallatin Bulldogs were the 61-50 winner over the Milan Wildcats when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Gallatin took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.
Milan's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marian Dabney, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Another player making a difference was Emerson Pauley, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Gallatin's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Milan, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.
Gallatin will head out on the road to face off against the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Missouri (West Platte is ranked 197th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 201st). As for Milan, they will square off against the Tigers at TBD on Friday. Higbee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 584 points over their last nine matches.
