The Mountain Range Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Legacy on the road by a decisive 60-43 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mountain Range in their matchups with the Lightning: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Mountain Range had strong showings from Camila Jimenez, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds, and Delilah Lucero, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. It was the first time this season that Jimenez scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daxton Almeida, who scored two points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Legacy was led to victory by Meghan Allshouse and Olivia Mortensen. Allshouse scored 18 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Mortensen dropped a double-double on 30 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Mortensen has scored at least a third of Legacy's points.

As for Legacy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.
