Crossroad Academy didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
Despite the defeat, Franklin County saw an underclassman step up: Sa'ryiah McNair scored 23 points. That was a full 54.8% of Franklin County's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Efredia Wesee, who scored eight points.
Crossroad Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Franklin County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.
Crossroad Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-30 victory vs. Aucilla Christian on the 9th. Franklin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
