AISA AAA Region 2 recap Oct. 30, 2012
Escambia Academy and Macon-East Montgomery Academy played the most hotly contested game in AISA AAA Region 2 this week, with Escambia Academy eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.
Fort Dale Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Wilcox Academy.
Morgan Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Senators feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dalton Lee has thrown for 522 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Harrison Watters has six catches for 141 yards. Jamie Bearden leads the league in rushing with 673 yards.
The Cougars made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,852 from 7,177. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 26-21 victory over the Knights last week.
