The J.F. Webb Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Orange Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. J.F. Webb has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with six straight losses, while Orange will come in with four straight victories.
Wednesday just wasn't the day for J.F. Webb's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to Cedar Ridge, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Meanwhile, Orange never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Durham School of the Arts.
Cam Brown and Oliver Van Tiem made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Brown pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Van Tiem pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. At the plate, Brown went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Van Tiem went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Brown is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Orange got a massive performance out of Kayden Bradsher, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Bradsher has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of J. P. Rodio, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Orange was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in four consecutive contests.
J.F. Webb's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Orange, their record now sits at 12-7.
J.F. Webb suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Orange in their previous meeting back in April of 2017. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
