The Gordon Lee Trojans''s game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 20-9 victory over Ridgeland. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Gordon Lee also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Gordon Lee can attribute much of their success to Brayden Stoker, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Layne Vaughn was in the mix as well, providing Gordon Lee with two touchdowns.
Gordon Lee has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Ridgeland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Gordon Lee will be playing in front of their home fans against Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ringgold is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Ridgeland, they will head out on the road to face off against LaFayette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
