On Friday Savanah Espinoza didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) Espinoza has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her seventh in a row with more than six strikeouts. This season, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 2.35 over 38.7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.500/0.611/1.000 with 18 runs.
