It was a good run, but the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ponca. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has scored all season.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bradyn Urwiler, who scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Gibson Roberts, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-1. As for Ponca, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
