Mountain Brook has gone a perfect 5-0 against Huffman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Spartans will face off against the Vikings at 5:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mountain Brook's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Shades Valley as they made off with a 9-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Mountain Brook needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Huffman waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Colonels. Genesis Ocesueda was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Huffman's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Mountain Brook, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-2.

Mountain Brook took their victory against Huffman in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
