It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Montwood Rams can now relate to. They had to suffer through a rough 64-19 loss at the hands of Midland Legacy. Montwood has not had much luck with Midland Legacy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Damien Johnson was a one-man wrecking crew for Midland Legacy as he rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Brex Stevens was in the mix too, providing Midland Legacy with two touchdowns.
Montwood now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Midland Legacy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Montwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Midland Legacy will take on Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Trinity is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
