 Providence Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Ponaganset, their win bumped their record up to 9-7-3.
 Ponaganset beat Providence Country Day by a goal  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, winning  3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chieftains since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
