Acalanes is 6-0 against Mt. Diablo since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Acalanes Dons will be playing at home against the Mt. Diablo Red Devils at 7:15 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Meanwhile, Mt. Diablo narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past College Park 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mt. Diablo.
Acalanes' win bumped their record up to 9-3-5. As for Mt. Diablo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2-2 record this season.
Acalanes was able to grind out a solid victory over Mt. Diablo in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, winning 2-0. Does Acalanes have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mt. Diablo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
