Conway Christian have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They looks to establish their home field advantage on Friday as they take on Poyen at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.
Conway Christian might have drawn first blood against Clinton two weeks ago, but it was Clinton who got the last laugh. Conway Christian found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 21-55 punch to the gut against Clinton. Conway Christian were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-35.
Last Friday, Poyen put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Murfreesboro as the squad secured a 60-22 win. The Poyen offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the contest anyway.
Poyen's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Conway Christian's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Poyen can add another positive mark to their record or if Conway Christian can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Poyen's step.
