Oliver Springs hadn't done well against Rockwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bobcats never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Oliver Springs' fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Rockwood, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.
