Our Lady of Mount Carmel was the clear victor by a 65-41 margin over Howard. The win made it back-to-back wins for Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Our Lady of Mount Carmel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caryne Nelson, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Nelson has scored at least 25% of Our Lady of Mount Carmel's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amya Goodsell, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Howard, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Our Lady of Mount Carmel will challenge Archbishop Spalding at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Archbishop Spalding comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Howard's road trip will continue as they head out to face Atholton at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th.
