 Cragan Outling paced East Rutherford's offense, picking up ten kills. Outling got some help from  Bailee Harris and her ten assists.  Casse McFarland controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chase to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ava Byrd, who  had 19  digs. Byrd is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Marilla Okpych, who  had six  kills, three  blocks,  and two  aces.
East Rutherford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Chase,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-13.
 East Rutherford has already played their next contest,  a  3-1  loss against Patton on the 2nd. As for Chase, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Lincolnton on the 1st.
