Natalie Stinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, J'Nai Webb and Karson Robinson did most of the damage at the plate: Webb went 3-for-5 with one home run and four RBI, while Robinson went 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits Robinson has posted since back in April. Nevaeh Dovell was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Sullivan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They are 12-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Sullivan pushed their record up to 17-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.
Sullivan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Sullivan, though, as they've been averaging 8.7 hits.
