Basketball Recap: Kearsarge Skates Past Mascoma with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kearsarge). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Mascoma Royals 50-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Several Royals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lyla Jacobson, who posted two points along with 13 boards and five blocks. Aaralyn Chiasson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Kearsarge's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Mascoma, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Kearsarge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-17 victory against Raymond on the 9th. As for Mascoma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 52-46 loss against Winnisquam on the 10th.
