The Prosper Eagles will venture away from home to  challenge the Plano East Panthers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Prosper is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 Last Friday,  everything came up roses for Prosper at home  against McKinney Boyd as the  team secured  a  55-17 win. The Eagles pushed the score to  49-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Broncos cut but never quite recovered from.
 Meanwhile, Plano East put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Plano West by a score of  27-14. Given the Panthers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings  (they are ranked 147th, while the Wolves are ranked 705th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Travis Agee and  Jackson Hays were among the main playmakers for Plano East as the former rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown and the latter threw for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Agee's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 138  rushing yards dating back to last season. A healthy portion of that aerial production (89 yards to be exact)  went to  Ryan Fariello.
 Plano East was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 248  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 163  rushing yards in five consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 Prosper now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Plano East, their record now sits at 4-0.
 Everything came up roses for Prosper against Plano East in their previous meeting  back in November of 2023, as the  squad secured  a  41-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Prosper since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
