Despite the defeat, Ralston Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Santana Sabus dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Ralston Valley is 6-2 when Sabus posts ten or more boards, but 6-8 otherwise. Mia Alfaro was another key player, putting up nine points.
