Whitefield Academy was led to victory by Sara Ritter and Gwynnie Franz. Ritter scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds, while Franz scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. Ritter is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Allison Spieker was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Bullitt East's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Whitefield Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Bullitt East will be playing in front of their home fans against Fern Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitefield Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
