Chattanooga Prep waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Copper Basin Cougars 94-13. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Chattanooga Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derrick Roberson, who on his way to 16 points. What's more, Roberson posted three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Austin Jones, who made all 5 shots he took for 12 points and five rebounds.

Chattanooga Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Chattanooga Prep's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Copper Basin, their loss dropped their record down to 7-20.

Chattanooga Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 76-44 victory against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts on the 24th. Copper Basin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
