There's no place like home for Brea Olinda, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Troy Warriors 11-0 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Gianna Tuso tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Layla Rodriguez Tande, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Makayla Gulfin was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Brea Olinda is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games.
