Makayla Jenniges turned in nothing short of a gem on Monday, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with two or fewer walks. For the season, she has an ERA of 4.38 over 30.1 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Jenniges and Annandale will venture away from home to square off against Maple Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals have some work to do to even out the 1-6 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
