Cascade won the last time they faced North Putnam, and Marcus J Hobson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cadets simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Cougars 42-6 with plenty of help from J Hobson, who picked up 53 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 67 yards and one TD. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 65 yards.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Cascade, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Toby Savini, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Cascade's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Delton Howrey with two.
