Martinez put up the best numbers through the air as Animo Robinson lost to the Stingrays. Martinez's favorite target this week was Damiko Lakey, who caught 13 passes for 83 yards.
Edgar Corona was the best running back in the league this week. In 23 carries, he ran for 142 yards as Discovery fell to Calvary Christian. Adan Gonzalez also contributed to the rushing game with 125 yards on the ground.
Meza was the best wideout in the league this week as the Falcons lost to the Lions. Meza tallied 5 receptions for 80 yards. Roman Castro helped East Valley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 18 yards.
Leading Pac-8 (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards, Annenberg's Guillermo Garcia and Spencer Aranda have proven to be a lethal combination. Garcia has thrown for 471 yards this season, while Aranda, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 6 catches for 330 yards. Corona from the Warriors leads the league in rushing with 142 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when East Valley takes on Fulton. As it stands, Javon Post's team is in fourth, while the Jaguars are in first.
The Knights led the league in points allowed with 13.
