Make it 12 blowout wins for the Kathleen Red Devils this season. They blew past George Jenkins 66-28 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Kathleen who now have six in a row.
It was another big night for Amaya Shaw, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. She hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Grier, who scored ten points along with two steals.
George Jenkins lost on Monday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Marykate Benham, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ivelisse Orengo, who scored nine points.
Kathleen has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for George Jenkins, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Kathleen will head out on the road to face off against Winter Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Winter Haven presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kathleen in Florida (Winter Haven is ranked 12th, while Kathleen is ranked 90th). As for George Jenkins, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bartow at 7:30 p.m.
