Marine Leadership Academy came out on top against Phoenix Military  on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run first inning. The Bulldogs blew past the Firebirds 11-1. The team  relied heavily on  Damien O'Malley, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  doubles marked the first that  he has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Leandro Padilla, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
