Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blue Mountain). Everything went their way against the Strayhorn Mustangs on Friday as the Blue Mountain Cougars made off with a 59-37 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Blue Mountain's win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13. As for Strayhorn, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Mountain will face off against Coffeeville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coffeeville will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Blue Mountain surely won't give up without a fight. As for Strayhorn, they will square off against Potts Camp at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Strayhorn is facing Potts Camp at the right time seeing as Potts Camp is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
