Bloomfield were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Stuart 52-14. That result is just more of the same for Bloomfield, who also won the last time these teams played.
Bloomfield's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 46 points in the first half. Stuart came up with 6 to make it 46-6 heading into the break. Bloomfield were outperformed in the second half 6-8 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win.
No one put up better numbers for Bloomfield than senior Will Fehringer, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 9 tackles Fehringer was a force on both sides of the ball. Junior Braden Eisenhauer was in the mix, too, providing Bloomfield with 3 touchdowns. The victory bumped their record up to 3-0. The defeat dropped Stuart's record to 2-1.
Bloomfield will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Allen in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Bloomfield have bulldozed their previous 3 opponents, so Allen might have their hands full. As for Stuart, they will face off against St. Mary's. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
