The Oak Hill Red Devils will face off against the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Oak Hill is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 21-8 margin over Midland Trail on Saturday. With that victory, the Red Devils brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Owen Grose was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Oak Hill: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-11 otherwise. Devin Richardson was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, two RBI, and one double.
Oak Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Midland Trail only posted a batting average of .190.
Meanwhile, Woodrow Wilson made easy work of Margaretta on Friday and carried off a 14-6 win. The Flying Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.
Gage Price made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tyler Wilhite, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 11 games. Another player making a difference was Drew Gallaher, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI.
Woodrow Wilson now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Oak Hill, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Oak Hill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. However, it's not like Woodrow Wilson struggles in that department as they've averaged .453. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Oak Hill skirted past Woodrow Wilson 8-6 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Flying Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
