On Friday Stoneham take on Melrose at 6:30 PM. Stoneham will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Melrose will be their toughest opponent yet.
Last Friday, Stoneham put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took the match and then some with a 36-0 win over Wakefield Memorial. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (30) and coasted on those for the win.
Meanwhile, the struggle was real when Melrose and Wilmington clashed, but Melrose ultimately edged out the opposition 17-14. The success made it back-to-back wins for Melrose.
Stoneham didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 38-44 to Melrose the last time the two teams met. Maybe Stoneham will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back on MaxPreps for all the details.
