Agoura won the last time they faced Buena and Gavin Gray did his part to make sure it happened again. The Chargers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bulldogs 52-7 with plenty of help from Gray, who threw for 440 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 56 yards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 311.8 passing yards per game.
Anderson Mercer was Gray's top target, picking up 80 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Mercer also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending two passes.
Agoura didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Cole Ziegler. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 14.
