Concord is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 43.0 points over those games. As for Encinal,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Concord and Mt. Diablo will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th. This will  be the Bears' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Encinal, they will take on San Lorenzo at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The  contest will also give the Jets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
