 Highland was led to victory by  Jayden Carrillo, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Carrillo wasn't messing around, picking up  four  sacks, forcing a fumble,  and making 14 total tackles (5.0 for loss). The  game was his third straight with six or   more total tackles dating back to last season.
 The  win was  the third in a row for Highland, bringing their record for this year to 3-3. Carrillo and Highland will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastside  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Suarez Made His Presence Known in Palmdale's  53-18 Win
 Thanks in part to  Joshua Suarez, Palmdale said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Nobody could stop  Suarez on Friday as he threw for 282 yards and six touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes.
 Palmdale's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. Suarez and Palmdale will take on Antelope Valley at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Gavin Houston Sets Career High in  Rushing Yards
 Antelope Valley was led to victory by  Gavin Houston, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Thursday. Houston rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. Antelope Valley is 2-1 when  Houston posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
 The  victory (which was Antelope Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 3-3. Houston and Antelope Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Palmdale  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Jamarieh Hector Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 Another Highland player making an appearance on this list is  Jamarieh Hector. He picked up  three  sacks, forced a fumble,  and made 12 total tackles (5.0 for loss). Thanks to that strong showing,  he's  now averaging 6.3  total tackles per game.
