Bullock Creek won the last time they faced Meridian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Bullock Creek and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Meridian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bullock Creek will host Clare at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Meridian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Merrill at 4:00 p.m. The Vandals' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
