After two games on the road, Jesuit is heading back home. They will take on the West Linn Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Winning is just a little bit easier when you drain seven more threes than your opponent, a fact Jesuit proved on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 64-41 margin over Wilsonville.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jesuit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amani Lubrano, who scored 19 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendra Hicks, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds.
Meanwhile, West Linn earned a 61-48 victory over Barlow on Friday.
Jesuit's win lifted them to 3-0 while Wilsonville's loss dropped them down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Jesuit against West Linn in their previous meeting back in March as the squad secured a 54-17 win. Will Jesuit repeat their success, or does West Linn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
