The Victor Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Lincoln, falling 65-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Victor has scored all season.
Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Jakushak led the charge by scoring 25 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jakushak has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Teegan Riddle, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Victor now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Lincoln, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Victor will head out on the road to square off against Darby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Darby is ranked 140th, while Victor is ranked 125th). As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
