The Credo Gryphon's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rio Lindo Adventist. The match was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but Credo was outscored by Rio Lindo Adventist in the second.
Rio Lindo Adventist found their leader in underclassman Jordan Campbell, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for Campbell. Kafili Thompson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Credo bumped their record down to 5-7 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Credo will be home for the holidays to greet Elsie Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rio Lindo Adventist won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Victory Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 13th.
