The University Christian Barracudas's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They breezed by Lake Lure Classical Academy on the road to the tune of 45-7. With University Christian ahead 30-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
University Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 1-4. As for Lake Lure Classical Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Queen's Grant at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. Queen's Grant comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Lake Lure Classical Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Community Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
