Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University Lab). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 77-45 stomp they got against the Covington Lions. The victory was familiar territory for the Cubs who have now won four matches in a row.

University Lab's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Covington, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 10-2 record.

University Lab will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Covington, they will take on Salmen at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
